Nathaniel chuckled and placed his chin on their shoulder. "What's up?"

I walk in "Babe! I'm home!" No answer... I walk over to the couch and see that they're asleep. "Aww.. My two little otters..." I crawl onto the couch.

Elias stirs as you climb on, opening his eyes slowly. "Hey.. babe..." he murmurs, shifting a bit to make room for you. "You're home late." He glances at the clock on the wall—it's past midnight.
Nathaniel is still fast asleep, snuggled against Elias's chest, looking adorable.

Neither of them looked up as Y/N approached the fireplace. Elias had his head resting on Nathaniel's shoulder, and Nathaniel was playing with Elias' hair as they whispered to each other. The fire crackled loudly in comparison to their quiet voices.
